BrightSideGoods Visual Identity
BrightSideGoods is a brand that embodies modern simplicity and eco-conscious values, designed for individuals who prioritize sustainability in their lifestyle. This project centered on developing a cohesive visual identity system for BrightSideGoods, applying it across various platforms to establish a strong, unified brand presence.
Through this project, my goal was to design a visual identity that reflects the brand’s ethos—merging environmental mindfulness with elegance. Every element, from the logo to the color palette, was crafted to highlight the brand’s commitment to reducing the carbon footprint while adding beauty to everyday life.
Project 2
Ruby and Lucy Illustration Series
During the pandemic, I launched Ruby and Lucy, a delightful illustration series that allowed me to explore my creativity and refine my skills using Procreate. The idea came to me suddenly—why not use my free time to practice drawing outside of design work? As a designer, I often sketch for projects, but rarely just for myself. In 2021, I took on a 365-day challenge to devote time each day to drawing, creating a consistent habit of creativity.
Inspired by seasonal themes and favorite holidays, each illustration in the Ruby and Lucy series captures moments of joy and whimsy. Throughout the collection, I maintained a consistent style while exploring a wide range of themes, challenging myself to push creative boundaries. This daily drawing challenge profoundly impacted me, not only improving my skills but also making me more observant and imaginative in my everyday life. Now, even the simplest objects inspire ideas of how Ruby and Lucy could interact with them, fueling my creativity in unexpected ways.
Project 4
A Compilation of Illustrative Icons
A well-designed icon instantly connects users to an app, making it easily recognizable and memorable. Throughout this project, I pushed the boundaries of icon design, aiming to create icons that resonate with users and subtly convey each product’s personality. I believe that expressive icons have the power to communicate beyond functionality, adding character to the user experience.
This collection reflects my passion for icon design and my commitment to creating visuals that not only serve a purpose but also bring a touch of joy to users. I hope you find as much enjoyment exploring these icons as I did in creating them!
